Out Loud!
NY ENRICHMENT GROUP
I have worked with the NY Enrichment Group from 2021-2022. I have taught hip-hop in two after school programs during last spring and Summer 2022. It is a privilege for me to have had these experiences in these after school programs and connect with these students.
Our Experience
We learned from each other. I helped students make their own dances. We had dance competitions and integrated technology into the classroom through videoing and editing our dances. I gave students agency in music selection.
WHO?
I had these group of students twice a week in the summer and once a week during the spring semester of school. The students ages ranged from middle school to high school students.
